Research Interests

  • Clinical Practice of Vascular Surgery — comprehensive management of all aspects of peripheral arterial and venous disease to include assessment, non-invasive imaging, and surgical and endovascular management.
  • Undergraduate, Post-graduate and Continuing Medical Education — didactic and clinical skills instruction to medical students, surgical trainees and practising surgeons. Educational research with a focus on the instruction, maintenance, and evaluation of surgical skills. Founding member of MacSERG (McMaster Surgical Education Research Group)
  • Clinical research — participation in clinical research projects and clinical reviews pertaining to current and future management of peripheral vascular disease.
  • Administration — involvement in local, provincial, and national initiatives related to the infrastructure and delivery of contemporary vascular care.
