Bio

Dr. Devin Peterson completed both his medical school degree and his Orthopedic Residency at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He continued his training with a sport medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at the University of Western Ontario followed by a second fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics also at Western. Dr. Petersen also obtained additional fellowship training in Spine Deformity Surgery at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.

Dr. Peterson has been on staff at McMaster University Medical Centre (MUMC) since 2000 and specializes in Pediatric Orthopedics as well as Sport Medicine for both children and adults. He is the CTU director for the Orthopedic Residents at MUMC and the Orthopedic Clerkship Director.

He and his wife Noella live in Ancaster, Ontario. He has worked as a team physician with the McMaster Marauder’s Football team for over a decade, and is now on the medical staff with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Football Club.
