Bio

Dr. Winemaker is a practicing Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton where he holds admitting and surgical privileges and is currently the Site Chief of Orthopaedics Surgery and the Director of the Regional Joint Assessment Program for ​the local integrated health network. Dr. Winemaker is also a part time Clinical Associate Professor at McMaster University​.

Education

Dr. Mitchell Winemaker graduated from the University of Toronto medical school program in 1991 and received his residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Western Ontario. This was followed by Fellowship training in Adult Joint Reconstructive Surgery (primarily of the hip and knee) at Harvard University. He obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1997.
