Bio

Dr. Wood is a fellowship trained hip and knee arthroplasty surgeon. He works out of Juravinski Hospital with a focus spanning the use of minimally invasive techniques such as the direct anterior approach for total hip arthroplasty to more complex procedures such as revision hip and knee arthroplasty.

Research Interests

Dr. Wood’s research interests include periprosthetic joint infection, the use of technology to improve total hip and knee surgical techniques and improvement of patient reported outcomes following joint replacement surgery. He is currently completing his MSc in health research methodology at McMaster University.
