Study Summary 

A Quality Improvement Initiative to improve and standardize the initial assessment,imaging reporting, and diagnostic evaluation/dispositionof patients presenting with suspected Appendicitis. To improve the quality of careto patients by implementing this care pathway and in the process reducenegative appendectomies, unnecessary investigations/imaging, and unnecessary hospital admissions. Pediatric patients (0-18 years) presenting to the Emergency Department at McMaster Children's Hospital with abdominal pain and suspected appendicitis.
