Performance Science Lab
"Our lab studies the way that people learn new skills. We are particularly interested in how information flow across the motor and perceptual systems changes with practice, and how feedback and assessment can be effectively implemented to support skill acquisition. We also study how to optimize performance in high-stakes environments, and how performance can be measured in meaningful ways. Much of our current work is focused on the education of health professionals; however, we also work with athletes and musicians, and have a strong interest in understanding the intersection of science and the creative arts."
