8.1 Clinical Research at St. Joseph's Heathcare Hamilton

All SJH-based research staff are invited to become members of the Clinical Research Network (CR Net), which meets on the third Wednesday of each month at noon for presentations on topics that affect our work. 8.2 HHS Research Administration
HHS Research Administration provides support to researchers within HHS, in terms of Research Finance, Research Human Resources and Research Ethics. They also handle agreements for research conducted at any of the HHS sites. This Office works closely with their counterparts at the SJH Research Administration Office as well as the Health Research Services of the Faculty of Health Sciences. 8.3 McMaster Industry Liasion Office (MILO)
The McMaster Industry Liasion Office (MILO) is a division of the Research and nternational Affairs Office of McMaster University. Their main focus is the protection of intellectual property, the commercialization of research discoveries and the collaboration between industry, the faculty researchers and the University. Specific services include filing for patents, copyright protection, negotiation of contracts and assisting with funding for project development and commercialization.
